In this article I will better understand you, that what are the checklist before starting concrete for the RCC slab and beam. And these are very important point to clear before string concreting on the RCC slab. After reading this article you will be able to learn all those point which are very important before staring concrete work.
these are then given checklist before starting concreting for slab and beam.
1: Before staring concrete we have to check the concrete clear cover for slab.
2: the beam sides and bottom concrete should be also checked.
3: Main bar and Distribution bars spacing should be checked.
4: the beam stirrups should be checked according to the Drawing.
5: Deshuttering oil shall be applied to beam and slab for De-shuttering.
6:the Proper number of chairs should be provided for slab.
7: The Slab thickness & beam depths should be checked if there is any problem than clear on the spot.
8: we have to Check the slab level in all direction.
9: We must be Checked the centre-to-centre (C/C) distance of jacks 3 feet.
10: Beam to beam measurements should be checked as per architectural drawings if there is any problem than solve it.
11: The Formwork corners shall be adequately tied to prevent from leakage or bulging and spreading of concrete. if its not Ok it will be danger during concreting.
12: The beam and column Junctions shall be checked so that should be watertight.
13: We must be Checked beams and column are straight and placed in position as per drawing or not.
14: Check the formwork surface Is it clean or not.
15: Reinforcement shall be checked for beams and slab as per R.C.C drawing.
16: you must be Checked all the concealed electric conduit work, electrical points and junctions.
17: Stirrups shall be provided at the free end of all columns reinforcement.
18: Check nut-bolts clip is fixed or tightened in every shutter hole otherwise it will not give us the good result.19: the Proper number of chairs must be provided for slab, And the minimum diamter of steel will be 12mm.
20: The Column should be Checked Is the oil is applied or not if the formwork is steel than.
21: Parapet bars should be left for staircase and balcony etc.
22: Check every plain sheet joint is made leakage proof by masking tape, Taping should be done at ply joints in care of ply shuttering.
23. The slab form work should be Checked that the inner face of formwork is smooth.
24. we have to checked if the formwork is water-tight.
25.Checked all the supports are properly placed and fixed.
26. Check width and depth/height of formwork is it ok or not.
27.we have to Checked foam is provided along the joint of steel formwork. (its important)
28.Check the formwork is properly aligned with respect to architecture drawing.
29. we have to check before starting concrete the diameter of all rebars.
30.The cleaning of the formwork should be properly done before starting concrete work.
The above checking list is too much important before staring concrete work at construction site. its important for site engineer.
